Professional Experience
- Over 40 years in commodity trading and index development, beginning as a floor trader at the New York Board of Trade in 1985.
- Responsible for the development of the Liquid Alternative Commodity Index (LACI), now the Stoneport Advisors Dynamic Commodity Index (ADCI), https://www.spglobal.com/spdji/en/custom-index-calculations/stoneport-advisors-llc/all/#overview , which serves as the reference index for the SCLS ETF recently listed on NASDAQ.
- Managing Director at MSR Investments, leading advanced analytics for hedge fund research and risk parity strategies.
- Discretionary trader at Graham Capital Management, managing over $500 million in proprietary strategies across commodities, equity indices, and fixed income.
- Responsible for the design of the S&P Commodity Indices (2001).
- Responsible for the re-design of the CRB Index, the world's most recognized commodity benchmark, for the New York Board of Trade (1995).
- Responsible for the creation of the Investable Commodity Index (ICI), the first investable total return commodity index (1990).
- Advisor to major institutional clients on commodity-based investments and trading strategies.
